Heather currently serves as the Associate Director of Internal Audit at Mississippi State University, a position she has held since March 2022. Before this, she was the Audit Manager from September 2018 to February 2022. Her experience also includes working at the Mississippi Office of the State Auditor in Jackson, MS, as a Field Auditor Specialist from August 2013 to August 2018 and as a Field Auditor from September 2011 to August 2013.
Heather completed her Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Accountancy at Mississippi State University, in 2011 and 2010, respectively.
She is a Certified Public Accountant (2013) and a Certified Internal Auditor (2018).
