Hunter joined MSU Internal Audit as an Internal Auditor II in September 2026. Prior to joining Internal Audit, he served as the Business Manager I for MSU’s Department of Agricultural Science & Plant Protection (ASPP), where he managed day-to-day business operations for over 60 faculty & staff employees.
Hunter also previously worked at Watkins, Ward, and Stafford, PLLC as a staff accountant. He gained extensive experience in tax and audit work as well as bookkeeping.
He earned his Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Mississippi in 2022.
