Lesia Ervin, a Certified Internal Auditor, has served as the Director of Internal Audit at Mississippi State University since May 2011. She brings over 25 years of audit experience, including 23 years in internal auditing, with previous roles at Arthur Andersen LLP and the University of Houston. Lesia holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Mississippi State University.
In her role, she leads operational, compliance, and departmental audits; oversees investigations of fraud, waste, and abuse; manages the university’s reporting hotline; and promotes strong internal controls through campus training and outreach.
