Synethia joined MSU Internal Audit as a Senior Auditor in April 2025. Prior to joining MSU, she served as an Auditor at Federal Express Corporation in Memphis, TN, where she led and supported risk-based operational audits. During her tenure at FedEx, Synethia developed and delivered numerous presentations to senior management and actively mentored new auditors and interns.
Synethia's previous experience includes roles as a Human Resources IT Intern at International Paper Headquarters, where she developed critical process documentation and facilitated effective communication between software developers and management for company-wide system upgrades. She also served as a Congressional Fellow for Senator Roger Wicker in Washington DC.
Synethia holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Systems (December 2023) and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems and Marketing (May 2022), both from Delta State University. She has earned the Internal Audit Practitioner (IAP) designation, holds a Harvard Business School Certification in Data Analytics, and is currently pursuing the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) credential. She is involved in professional development and has served as Treasurer for Toastmasters International - Express Delivery Club.
