Jordan has served as Deputy Director of Internal Audit at Mississippi State University since March 2025. In this role, she provides strategic oversight of internal audit operations, including IT audits, consulting projects, investigations into fraud, waste, and abuse, and management of the university’s hotline.
Before joining MSU, she worked in Internal Audit at FedEx. Her MSU career has included roles as Audit Manager and Associate Director in Internal Audit before moving into her current position. She also served as Associate Director in the Alumni division before returning to Internal Audit.
An experienced higher education audit professional, Jordan brings a strong record of advancing effective audit practices. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with an emphasis in International Business, and a Master of Business Administration from MSU. She is also a Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Fraud Examiner. Beyond MSU, Jordan has contributed to the profession by serving on peer review teams, presenting at national internal audit conferences, and volunteering with the Association of College and University Auditors (ACUA).
